I made up a story called the Legend Of Mink. It is about the son of Link trying to defeat the new evil of the gerudo king Lester. Check it out.
The Legend Of Mink
The Return of the Gerudo King Lester
Deep in the ruins of Gerudo Valley a unknown power lies dormant that has been kept in the ruins for an unknown amount of time. But one day that power was released from those ruins by Gannon. He though he could control the power but when he saw the power of what he had unleashed he knew that this new power would not be able to be stopped unless the hero of Hyrule were to come back to save them all. The sound of hooves riding across the fields filled the air as epona ran across the field with a mysterious warrior upon him.
It wasn't link but it was his son...Mink. He was dressed in the same outfit as link but it was more Brighter Green. He was on his way to see Zelda's daughter ( His crush ) Shiek. When he got to the castle he jumped off epona and did a flip to try and impress Shiek. She giggled and let him inside where her mother was sitting down sewing a dress for her.
" Why hello Ms. Zelda how are you today?" Mink asked. " Well I'm doing splendid other then the fact then my husband isn't home yet." Zelda said. " Well you know Orphan he's one of those guys you can't keep a leash on." Mink said and they all giggled. Then the sun went away and an eclipse of a blackish red sphere showed in front of it.
" Uh-oh that must mean trouble." Zelda said. " Mink could you check it out for me it looks like it's coming from Gerudo Valley." Zelda asked. " I'd love to Zelda." Mink said as he rode off toward Gerudo Valley. He sped across a the fields of Hyrule rushing to get to the source of that power.
When he got to the Gerudo Valley he saw a dark light reaching from a building way in the back of the ruins. So Mink got out his fathers Master sword and walked toward the dark power. When he got there he saw that there was a body dead on the floor. It was Gannon’s. " Who could possibly be more powerful then Gannon?" Mink said to himself and then a voice lets out .
" Who dares come into my palace?". " I am Mink son of the Hero of Hyrule Link and I have come to stop whatever it is that is blocking out the sun. " Mufufufufufu. You possibly think you can beat me the king of the Gerudos?" The king said. " Well there's no use in not trying." Mink said as he jumped and slashed at the King but he blocked it with some kind of magical force shield.
" What is that power?" Mink wondered. " I am the King Of All Gerudos and noone can stop me from ruling this world not even the gods." The King yelled. " All shall bow down to the power of The Gerudo King Lester." Lester yelled out. Then a massive army of gerudos appeared from the ground and Mink ran out to epona and rode for his life.
" This Lester is too strong for me there's no way to beat him. Or maybe Zelda knows I have to go see her." Mink says as he rode all the way through the fields to the Castle. When he arrived he looked beat up and ran into Zelda's room. " Zelda that power is of one that I have never seen before. He is the king of all Gerudo's Lester and he is making a new army of Gerudo's and is planning on taking over the whole world. I couldn't stop him but I though you might know of a way to stop him." Mink explained.
" Well there is one way...You must go through what Link did and go to the temples around Hyrule. Obtain the power from each Temple and then you might be able to harness the powers of the gods." Zelda explained. " First you must go to the Forest Temple and meet the Maku Tree. Good luck Mink." Zelda said and Mink then rode off to the forest. When he got to the forest his first order of business was to meet the great Maku Tree.
" Hello Maku tree? I was told by Zelda that you might be able to help me defeat this new evil." Mink explained. Then a big Yawn came from the tree and the Maku Tree spoke, " I see it has been a long time Link since I have seen you." " But I am not Link he is my father. I am his son Mink and I have come to you to see if you knew how I would be able to defeat the new evil. King of the Gerudo's Lester." Mink explained. " So he has returned...Hmmmmm... there is one way. You must take the power that is within each temple and place it in the Shrine Of Hyrule." Maku Tree said. " I suggest that you start with the forest temple that lies here." Maku tree then opened a path that led to the Forest Temple. " Here is the entrance to the Forest Temple. Somewhere in there is Tri-Force piece obtain that and go the fire temple. Quickly for you do not have much time.
Maku tree said as he fell back asleep. So link then entered the new path that was laid out before him. He walked through many mazes and defeated some tiny enemies and finally got to the Forest Temple. It was huge and was covered in leaves and vines. " Man this place is sure big I would have never thought the temple would be so big. He entered the temple and there were 3 paths in front of him.
One of the paths were locked and the other one had the picture of an eye on it and the last one was just a plain passage. So he took the last one and he went through a hall, opened a door and he was in the back of the temple. " Man I have a bad feeling about this." Mink said as he looked at the Giant Labyrinth that laid before him. It was a forest maze like one he had played in with his father.
He began walking through the maze not knowing if some monster would pop out and attack him or whether he would fall through a trap door. All he knew is that he had to reach the end of this maze no matter what to save Hyrule. After many hours he was about to give up until he heard something growl. " Oh crap." Mink said as there was a gain boar behind him about to gore him through the maze until he got an Idea.
When the boar lunged at Mink he jumped on the boars back and got a hold on his horns. " All right buddy what you're going to do is plow through this maze to the exit ok?" And on that note the boar flew off and began rushing through the maze like a mad man hoping to get this man off of him. When they reached the end of the maze the boar stopped and flew into the door that led out of the maze.
The boar then let out a sick laugh and ran the other way to where his nest is. When Mink came too he looked at the gigantic door in front of him and it had a symbol of the Hyrule Castle. " Hmmmm....What could this possibly mean?" Mink thought to himself until he got an Idea. He pulled out his magical Ocarina his father gave him and began playing Zelda's song Zelda thought him.
The door then magically opened and he walked into the door and before he was even able to let out a breath the door behind him slammed shut and he was locked in. " There's no turning back now," Link though to himself. " Looks like I can only go forward and see what lies ahead for me." And then he walked into the shadows of this new part of the dungeon not knowing that something was stalking him right under his nose. So he continued through the hall that seemed almost infinite in space.
Then he came to a door and it was almost about 3 times his size. Even though he was just a little kid he was still able to fit through the door. When he walked threw the door he saw it. He saw a piece of the Legendary Tri-Force that was scattered to all three of the sacred temples. “ All right now I only have to get two more and then I will be able to beat Lester. So Mink got out of the dungeon through a trap door and got on Epona.
He knew of the next temple because of all the stories his father Link had told him about. It was the fire temple that was above the great Goron Village. So he road up to the mountain base, all the way up to the top, and entered the Goron Village. The first thing he did was head to the Goron Shrine to speak with the elders. When he got there they were massive in size and Mink was stunned right in his boots.
“ Yes young warrior what have you come here for?” One of the Goron Elders said. “ ……I…..I…….I came to go into the fire temple…..G-G-G- Goron sir.” Mink said stuttering. “ Why certainly young warrior I can tell that you have no evil in your heart.” The Goron said with a smile. “ …Th-Th- Thank you Mr. Goron sir.” Mink said as he walked out of the shrine and headed towards the fire temple.
When he got there he could barely take the heat considering that it is in the center of a Volcano. And when his life was about to give out he got picked up by somebody and taken to a near-by cave. It was shrouded with ice and there was a faire standing next to Mink. “ You okay there fella you were going to pass-out out there and you would have died. Good thing I saved you though, but anyway what are you doing here?” The fairy asked.
“ Well I am here on a quest from queen Zelda to save Hyrule from the evil ruler of the Gerudo’s Lester.” Mink explained. “ What Lester has survived?!?!?!?!? Oh no young warrior you must be on your way to stop him or he will surely destroy the world. Here it is a fire tunic it will protect you from the extreme heat inside the dungeon.” The fairy said while giving him the tunic. Mink said thank you and rushed out to the volcano for he knew there was not much time until Lester restored his power and began reeking havoc upon the world.
When he first reached the dungeon he started off in a huge room where the bottom was covered with lava and there was a bridge leading to the other side. So he began walking through the bridge making each step a careful one for one slip and he could fall off and get killed. Just when he was half way threw he saw that the rope that was keeping the bridge intact was beginning to break. So Mink started sprinting toward the other side trying to reach it before it is too late. And then when it was about to break he took a huge leap and made it to the other side.
The bridge then collapsed and melted at the bottom of the cave. “ Oh this is great now how am I supposed to be able to get back. Oh well no turning back now I have to keep going and get that other piece of the Tri-Force.” Mink said as he continued walking through the new maze.
The next room he came into was a pretty straightforward room where he just walked through the door but that lead into a new room that had a large box being pushed up to a large room on top. Mink now knew that he must time his jump so he can take the box up to the next room. He climbed up one edge of a cage which was surrounding the room and began climbing. When he got to the top he jumped over to a pillar on next to the cage.
He now had a perfect jump to get on the box. When the lava shot out and sent the box flying into the air he jumped on it at the last second and made it to the top. This room was a very large room that had a giant lava monster protecting the piece of the Tri-Force. He found a huge hammer on the floor next to his feet. It was the megaton hammer and it was huge and heavy.
The monster then came swooping down at Mink but he sidestepped to the left and hit the monsters head with the hammer crushing it’s skull. So Mink then dropped the hammer and began walking toward the Tri-Force. When he got to the alter he heard a breath creeping down his neck.. He turned around and saw the Monster right behind him. It’s slick smooth body like a snake covered with fire behind him sent a shock threw his body.
But Mink then came to his senses and grabbed the piece of the Tri-Force and ran. The lava snake followed him through the dungeon he just went through but then he came to the entrance where the bridge was out. The lava snake was right behind him and was ready to strike at any moment. “ All right you snake you want to get me then come and get me.”
Mink said as the lava snake lunged toward Mink but at the last second he jumped up and stabbed the snake with his sword threw it’s head pinning him to the ground. Then out of nowhere a light shrouded Mink and he was transported to Queen Zelda’s castle. Mink began looking around wondering if he really was back here until he saw Queen Zelda. “ ….What am I doing here Queen Zelda I doing here I just got the second piece of the Tri-Force and I was about to leave the Dungeon to go get the next piece.” Mink said.
He then repeated it much louder. “ What am I doing here I just got the second piece of the Tri-Force and I was about to leave the Dungeon to go get the next piece!!!” But the Queen did not move. So then Mink walked around the queens body and saw that there was a huge hole in her back. “ W-W-W- What happened!!!! What happened to you Queen Zelda?!?” Mink shouted.
“ I believe I can answer that question.” A black figure then came out to site, it was Lester. “ She is dead. I had to make an example of what happens when you dare defy the king of all Gerudo’s. “ But what have you done with Sheik you monster?!?!” Mink shouted pulling out his sword. “ Why that little girl? I have her trapped in my dungeon I thought I might let my pets have a tasty desert. Hahahahaha” Lester laughed.
“ Grrrrrr Take this you monster.” Link shouted as he lunged his sword at Lester but he blocked it with magic. “ Useless mortal I have no time for these stupid games but I’ll tell you what. If you manage to defeat me in battle I will tell you where the last piece of the Tri-Force is and I’ll let your little girlfriend go.” Then Lester made a sword out of his magic and got in his fighting stance. “ Come Mink show me what you have learned on this journey.”
Mink then charged out Lester and began slashing blindlessly. “ A man who fight’s without thinking might as well give up.” Lester said as he threw Mink behind him and kicked him back into the wall of the castle. “ You might as well give up Mink for there is no way you can win.” Lester said as he jumped up in the air and jumped on Mink’s back. Mink shouted in pain and lied lifelessly on the ground.
“ Hmm seems like there will be nobody this time to stop me.” But then a beam of light came shooting down on Mink. He was then shrouded in energy and then a gigantic explosion shook the whole earth. He came out in shiny new armor with a green tunic and the Master Sword in his hand. “ No it can’t be……He can’t be…..The oracle of time?”
Then Mink made a new sword that came right out of his hands and struck down Lester where he stood. “ It seems….that I…..have failed….here….is your….* cough *…your…girlfriend…* chuckle. Then right there Lester died and Mink returned back to normal. The next day Mink woke up and Queen Zelda and Sheik were standing right beside him. “ Thank you for saving us Mink. This whole world owes you a great debt for you have defeated Lester and have brought peace to the land. “ Thank you Queen Zelda and Sheik……Thank you all. “
